When you join The Canadian Art Therapy Association you will receive a membership card, a membership directory, a tri-annual newsletter, the bi-annual C.A.T.A. Journal, reduced fees to C.A.T.A. conferences and workshops, and a copy of our Code of Ethics.
Types of Membership
Registered Membership: [Application Form]- Art Therapists who have R.C.A.T. or equivalent
- Annual dues: $95
- Eligible to vote, hold office and to serve on committees
- Art Therapists who have completed their professional post-graduate training and are active in the field
- Annual dues: $70
- Eligible to vote, hold office and to serve on committees
- Interested professionals in the fields of mental health, education and social services who wish to contribute to the use of Art Therapy
- Annual dues: $50
- Eligible to serve on committees
- Students enrolled in a Canadian Graduate Art Therapy Program
- Annual dues: $25
N.B. Registered, Professional and Student applications must be accompanied by proof of Art Therapy registration/ education/ student status.
Upon receipt of a completed application and your membership payment, you will receive a membership card. In the case of Registered memberships, you will receive an additional application package for supplementary information.
